Happy Valentine's

It was one of those moments that you give your life a second thought and wonder if everything is worth it.

It was Friday night and the night of a day when you cannot escape from hearts and flowers. They were everywhere and so confrontational, reminding you of something missing in your life. You decided to stay and work late, hopefully for your temporary peace of mind. However, the battery of the camera died somehow and you had to go home. Oh well.

Being sentimental is never a blessing; Rather it is a life sentence. For those who have suffered at a young age, you will embark on a bumpy road trip that never ends. Will you choose to embrace the sunshine, with smiles and warmth, or to go down with your devil, subject to control and manipulation?

Maybe he was right. I once had a boy, or should I say, he once had me. He commented and I quote, "You do not realize that you have never loved me. Once you find him, and when he breaks your heart, you will understand me then."

Years later I heard Dido on radio again. I have to admit that I never changed. Even my preference of music.

It was one of those moments that you give your life a second thought and wonder if everything is worth it. However, I know better that I need to wear myself out so by the time the dawn casts, I will be ok again.
